Frequently Asked Questions
How do I receive my money?
Grant recipients will receive a grant award to notify them of the money available to their entity. An application/budget is then required to be submitted by the entity. Once the recipient receives an approved application/budget, requests for reimbursement may be submitted. For more information regarding the application/budget process, please visit the Division of Education Finance’s link below, or contact them at (225) 342-6311.

Where is my money?
Valid requests for reimbursements are normally paid within 30 days of receipt. To see if payment has been issued prior to that time, you may perform a payment search at the link listed below.
This link will access the homepage for the Office of Statewide Reporting and Accounting Policy (OSRAP) which is updated daily to reflect all checks and electronic fund transfers that have been issued. You will need your federal tax identification number or social security number to access this information. Choose the "Vendor Search" button once you are on the OSRAP home page.
If you require additional information after you have completed your search, please contact us at (225) 342-3780.

Why didn’t I receive the amount I requested?
Please verify your calculations, ascertain if all goods and services for which you are requesting reimbursement are within the grant award period, and determine if all items requested are for allowable costs under the program. Also, in some instances, your claim may have been processed before a recently submitted budget revision was approved. Please check your last approved current available budget by line item.
If none of these appear to be the reason for the reduction, please contact us at (225) 342-3780.
