SPRING IOWA TESTS SCHOOL-BY-SCHOOL DATA AVAILABLE
BATON ROUGE, La. — School-by-school spring 2002 test results for The Iowa Tests are now available on the Department of Education's website at www.louisianaschools.net. Click here to go directly to the results.
The results represent the final spring 2002 scores for the state’s approximately 1,400 public schools.
Final test results are also available for the state and district level. Preliminary results for the district and state were released in late May. Individual school results weren’t released at that time.
The Iowa Tests are given to public school 3rd-, 5th-, 6th-, 7th- and 9th-grade students. Schools will use this year's data to gauge their progress toward the state's accountability goals. Each school receives a School Performance Score each year. The Iowa Tests comprise 30 percent of each school’s score. LEAP 21/GEE 21 scores, which were released earlier this week, comprise 60 percent of each school's score. The remaining 10 percent of a school’s score consists of attendance and dropout rates.
Meanwhile, the state is scheduled to release LEAP 21 summer retest results for students who failed the test in the spring by mid-next week.
