Families Helping Families: Purpose and Mission

Families Helping Families of Louisiana Centers are a group of families who, through their own experiences, are committed to reaching out to other families who have members with special needs and self-advocates. The term "special needs" includes physical, mental, emotional, behavioral, and/or academic issues.

Mission:
To enable and empower Louisiana families of individuals with special needs through an effective coordinated network of resources, support, and services.

Families Helping Familites at the Crossroads of Louisiana has established and maintains the research library. This excellent resource is available to families, educators, and concerned individuals intestestd in researching specific disabilities, including causes, treatments, and current research.
