Employee Policies
The Employee Policies and Procedures as outlined below apply to all Department of Education staff, including the Special School District Central Office staff. All other SSD unclassified staff are governed by the Personnel Manual of the Louisiana State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (SBESE). In the event of conflict with BESE policy or with state or federal law, BESE policy or state or federal law supersedes the department's policy.
