LEADTech Closing Sessions

2004-05 LEADTech Cohorts Closing Sessions Cancelled

Hurricanes Katrina and Rita have in some way impacted every district across this state. In order to allow district and school-level administrators to focus their time, energy, and resources on meeting the needs of Louisiana’s students during this challenging time, we have decided to waive the LEADTech closing session requirement for all participants enrolled in the 2004-05 LEADTech cohorts. Specifically, this waiver refers to the closing sessions that were scheduled from October through December 2005 for the eighteen 04-05 LEADTech cohorts that have already completed the online course. This means that participants from these cohorts do not have to attend a closing session or complete any closing session assignments online.

We commend all of the 2004-05 LEADTech participants for their exemplary work and look forward to working with everyone in the near future. Participants from the 2004-05 LEADTech cohorts will still receive their graduate credit and a certificate of completion. Certificates will be sent via mail to district superintendents for distribution to individual LEADTech participants.
