Professional Accountability
Overview and Key Projects
The goal of Professional Accountability is to support high quality teachers
in all of Louisiana's classrooms. Professional Accountability develops, implements,
and manages a number of teacher certification, assistance, and assessment projects
as mandated by State legislation and the State Board of Elementary and Secondary
Education policies.
Projects include:
- Louisiana Teacher Assistance and Assessment Program
- Louisiana FIRST (Framework for Inducting, Retaining, and Supporting Teachers)
- Guidelines for Local Personnel Evaluation
