Revision in Sabbatical Leave
Authored by Senator Long, SENATE BILL NO. 746 has revised the definition and eligibility of SSD teachers and staff that are eligible for sabbatical leave to now include social workers, guidance counselors, and school psychologists.
Please review and share the information with SSD staff so that everyone is aware of the changes enacted during the recent Legislative Session and go into effect August 15, 2008.

The Regional Assistive Technology Centers are offering professional development team training throughout the school year related to use and implementation varied products and AT Tools. The invitation is to teachers throughout the each region and SSD.
Approval from your Regional Coordinator is needed before enrolling. There is limited space, so please move quickly with your requests.
